A Message from the RTM Director

Dear Friends of the Red Thread Movement,

I would like to personally thank each one of you for partnering with the Red Thread Movement. I am so grateful for the work you have done and are doing to combat human trafficking, and I am daily encouraged by your enthusiasm and hope for a slavery-free world.

Over the past three years, I have watched Red Thread grow: from its origins in a college dorm room to a global movement affecting thousands of lives around the world. I have seen not only the lives of rescued victims changed, but I have witnessed a revolution in the mindsets of people recognizing the reality of human trafficking and taking a stand to fight against it.

As a freshman in college, I co-founded the Red Thread Movement as an initiative of Eternal Threads, and I have spent the last three years helping to direct its growth. This December, I am graduating from college and will be continuing my education in the United Kingdom, with the hopes of addressing these problems through government at the policy level. I am stepping down as Executive Director of the Movement, so that it can continue to grow in its purpose and influence the larger fight against human trafficking and modern-day slavery. I look forward to seeing where the Movement goes from here!

It has been an honor to work with you in raising awareness for the scourge of human trafficking, and it is my hope that you continue to take action against this injustice – the Movement is far from over! The Red Thread Movement will remain an initiative of Eternal Threads, and Breahna Jordan – who has been working closely with me on Red Thread for nearly a year – will be taking over as Director of the Movement.

Thank you once again for wearing freedom and combating slavery!

Until All are Free,

Brittany Partridge
